REALTOR® Rally
R.W. Watson, President-Elect Bill Haviland, Government Affairs Co-Chairman Ray O'Neil and Excutive Vice President Pat Jacobs will rally in Washington D.C., in front of the Washington Monument. It is expected that over 10,000 REALTORS® will create a wave of "blue" to reclaim the "American Dream!" Members of Congress will join REALTORS® as they hear speakers about how homeownership highlight the important role housing plays in the economic recovery. The Midyear NOCBOR representatives will meet with regulators, industry leaders and members of Congress to address critical and urgent issues like homeownership tax benefits, mortgage liquidity, flood insurance reform, commercial real estate lending, and measures to ensure the stability of the real estate market and overall exonomic recovery.
